Looks like the Kansas City market is having issues with kc.rr.com as the sole DNS server.
To correct without waiting on timewarner, you can simply add 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 to the DNS table either on your local machine or router.
Now that I think about it, how would you even read this post, should you have the issue.
