Im posting this from my G1, so there will be a lack of details, but reboot your device (I like to do a battery pull, Blackberry style) and they should start showing up. Hopefully I can start paying for apps like Papi games . Gulp.

Kansas City RoadRunner having DNS issues?

Looks like the Kansas City market is having issues with kc.rr.com as the sole DNS server.
To correct without waiting on timewarner, you can simply add 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 to the DNS table either on your local machine or router.

Now that I think about it, how would you even read this post, should you have the issue.

Ever want to let your kids scream sing into a microphone on your PC, so you can record it and send it to your friends and family? You have two problems. A.) Your kids want to listen to it live, and B.) You have a USB Microphone. USB mics dont behave in the same manor as their analog counterparts, and therefore need some computer trickery to work how we need them. Follow this quick guide to recording and previewing the live sound.

1. Install your USB mic per the instructions. Or install your Rockband mic, by plugging it into your PC. Windows will find it.

2. Download. Audacity (Its free). 2a. Install Audacity.

3. Open Audacity, Head to “Transport” and put a check by “Software Playthrough”. This will allow live preview of the sound.

4. Test it. You can click on the Mic adjustments arrow, and pick “Start Monitoring”. You should be able to hear your beautiful voice over the speakers. If you don’t hear anything, adjust your playback and input devices by going to “Edit–>preferences”. Select a pairing that works together. The software will let you know if you picked the wrong pairing.

That’s it! Dont forget to check your default recording device and volume levels on your Mic. In Vista head to Control Panel –> Sound –> Recording Tab –> Select USB Mic –> Properties –> Levels tab.
